Shoe Closet Interview: Pasha De Matas

By  |

Hey swanksters! Take a look at my first shoe closet interview, with Pasha De Matas. She has since added quite a collection which I’m sure will not stop anytime soon. What makes this so special is that before this interview Pasha moved from Brooklyn to Manhattan due to a robbery that happened in her building by get this–her own landlord! Classic NYC. All her most priced items were stolen, including her beloved designer handbag collection. She then decided that in building her collection back up she would focus on shoes. She really does see them as art more than anything and I like that her taste is simple yet contains a bit of an edge at times. Also, Pasha has recently become a cancer survivor and I’m so proud of her overcoming it all with her beautiful warrior self. I hope I can capture more on her story in the near future, but until then be sure to connect with her on Facebook. You can find the video interview at the bottom of this post.

Enjoy and God bless!

Love this interview xo. I could not imagine breaking a heel while in the street, that would be awful!

First of all, I would like to thank you for being the first comment on my relaunch! :) xoxo But yes, unswanky mishaps suck. I've broken a heel before inside the club and then had to hop to the car. And to think they were Jimmy Choo! A post on it coming real soon.
