Blogger Collaboration: Nude Shoe with Michelle of Catwalks & Baby Bumps

By  |

Hey swanksters! Welcome to the first installment of a blogger collaboration I’ll be doing with other fellow bloggers. The basis of it will be working an outfit around a particular style, designer, or color of shoe. It will be tons of fab and fun!

This post here was based on a nude heel and as you can see, I decided to go with Boutique 9’s Orson Patent Nude Pump which are actually on a mega sale right now for $39.60 at Last Call by Neiman Marcus. Affordable yet chic!

Next let me present to you the beautiful Michelle of CATWALKS & BABY BUMPS. Take a look at HER NUDE SHOE POST to see the outfit she put together with her Christian Louboutin Very Prive Nude Peep Toe. While there, be sure to browse around at her knack for home decor, yummy eats, and plenty of swanky approved looks.

So my look was inspired by a night out on the town just lounging and enjoying the weather all while being very comfortable. More and more I notice I lean toward outfits that are comfy yet retain the swank factor.

I got the Boutique 9 nude heels in the Spring because in trying to rebuild my shoe collection I desperately needed a neutral pair to go with EVERYTHING! I especially wanted a classic pointy toe that, in my opinion, is a little more sexy than the other options. Versatility in a shoe is extremely important to me and Orson made the cut.

I paired them with a Piazza Sempione for Barneys New York blazer (I love this jacquard one by Sempione), nude button up Collective Concepts blouse (white tie-front version), and tribal harem pants by d’closet (these Forever 21 pair are super cute). To top off the look I accessorized with Chloe sunglasses and dark metals (optional bracelet).

Photos were taken by Spencer Chun Photography at Wahiawa Freshwater State Park and Makeup was done by Cristina of HA Simplicity. I’m so blessed to be able to have them as part of my swank family and I appreciate them so much for helping me look and feel my best! <3

Take a look at how it all comes together below and let me know your thoughts!

Enjoy and God bless!

I totally love this post! Believe it or not, about 3 months ago I purchased my first nude pump. I am a more black everything girl. However, I have never seen how sexy nude can be dressed up, down, sporty, all of it! I am still learning how to wear nude colors; therefore, I found this post as fashion inspiration to learn how to get it all together! LOL. Thanks! Great job ladies!

Hooray! I was reluctant to the whole nude heel look for a while too and just didn't get it. But the more I saw them worn effortlessly, the more I fell in love . Now I have 4 pairs of nude shoes! lol Thanks for the support and Feedback! God bless! xoxo
